An anonymous photographic art project exploring the truth of female libido - beyond silence, shame, and myth.
It’s time we spoke honestly about female desire. I've been on my own personal journey of discovery and learnings and, through this, I feel female libido and sexual desire are often shrouded in shame and misconceptions, and I want to change this.
The female libido is misunderstood, oversimplified, and a few hundred years ago thought by many to not exist
The project began with me writing a letter to my libido…
And something changed in me forever! Now I want to encourage conversations, raise awareness, and help women feel more empowered to talk about and understand their bodies and desires.
What does your Libido have to say?
Darling Libido... Please write a letter to your libido; put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and see what comes. Long, short, deep, light, there are no boundaries here. All letters are completely anonymous (nobody, including me, will see who wrote each letter) but your words may be used as part of the final project.
